on Dr. Geagea’s conditions
After 10 years in prison, many rumors
have been spread; some were good and and some bad. Some rumors
mentioned the imminent release of the Hakim and other rumors
painted a black picture of his current situation. In recent weeks
many rumors were spread about Dr. Geagea health and condition. The
following are points written by Dr. Geagea family members who
visit him occasionally:
1- Every Tuesday and Thursday the Hakim
is visited by his wife (Sethrida Geagea), his mother (Marie Geagea),
his father (Farid Geagea), his sister
(Nauhad Kayrouz) and his
nephews (Paul and Peter Kayrouz) at the defense ministry compound in
Yarze . In general, only they and no one else can see him, except for
Bishop Al Baysari who visits him once a month.

Prison Conditions are Eased after Medical Checkup

found someone on ebay selling the Sadem Airborne breast badge. I
understood only 20 of these were ever given out. This is your chance
to own one. At the moment there isn't much time at all left for the
auction so hurry. This is the description from the auction: "This is
an old, mint condition Lebanese Sadem Special Forces Company airborne
breast badge worn sometime in the 1980's or early 1990's. It has
exactly the same colors and type construction as the airborne beret
badge, but is a smaller size. This badge has 2 vertical loops on the
reverse through which a small cotter pin passes to fasten it to the
uniform."
